Vintage 2018 / Thanks! winefriend @Jaap Cuijpers knows that I like very curious grapes and he introduced me to Incrocio Bruni 54. There are only 32 acres vineyard with this grape, a crossing from sauvignon and verdicchio bianco. The wine is from the Marche region. It went excellent with a piperade of vegetables and baked flounder (Fr: limande Nl: schar) and a selection of goats cheese. — 6 years ago

Light and delicious. About $15. — 8 years ago
My favorite white wine! Can't stop drinking it. I always finish the whole bottle in one night. — 8 years ago
Manzoni Bianco? Sure, why not. Banana, lemon and lime, pineapple, honeydew melon (reminds me of the Italian Macedonia salad). Acidity is high, and it works with the fruit. Some green herbal notes. Not bad, not expensive. — 9 years ago
Easy and delicious. Lots of honeysuckle and a bit of funk. — 5 years ago
We are at Machiavel, just next door to Clover Grill in Paris. Rocche dei Manzoni is a great Barolo producer. This is their basic Barolo, and we love it. Good length, polished tannins and freshly cut flowers with lots of red and dark fruits. Excellent now and can age well for a few years as well. Good stuff ! — 6 years ago
Great well aged langhe nebbiolo. Certainly quite secondary at this point. Lots of bricking in the glass. Mushrooms and decaying leaves in a good way. Smooth, mouth filling, and good acid. — 8 years ago

Drinking tonight 12/30/15. 05a great year. — 9 years ago
Year has made a significant change to this wine. Last summer it was bit too much of everything where as now the wine has mellowed, integrated and even shows some complexity. Nice mineral streak gives firmness and the bit over the top ripeness is better aligned with the acidity giving better balance. I still think the regular bottling is overall a better package. — 6 years ago

This is a full bodied red that hits your taste buds fast and hard. My mouth is salivating in anticipation of pairing it with a juicy tri-tip steak. My better half says "Smooth, crisp, clean finish." — 8 years ago
