I figured I'd see what the big deal is and pop one of these bad boys. Big fruit nose and great symmetry but slight heat is holding me back from going up a few more points. This has the stuffing for greatness in 3-5years when it comes together, bit for now still quite primal. Very nice. But happily schizophrenic; pop the cork and it's big, jammy, and inky... Almost new world. Come back to see him the next day or two and the French accent comes thru. But still too closed to let the terroir thru. Obviously I infantcised this one... Cellar if you can. — 11 years ago
