Opened last night with pizza a little left to try again today.
Drinking real nice, soft tannins, smooth mouthfeel with just a tiny grip at the end. I have a few other Turley 08's time to drink them up. — 11 years ago

Gorgeously dirty and fantastic with the main for Easter (lamb moussaka). That cedary thing I love with S Rhône Grenache. Classic. Really like this producer. — 11 years ago
2009. I can keep smelling this wine all night if I had to - great nose. Typical red fruit, roses, and a hint of licorice and mint. And the high tannin and acid typical in Barolo are so balanced. Very approachable and enjoyable despite its youth. — 12 years ago
This is one of the most successful European 2003's I have had, rich but not overripe or hot, with an American oak vanillin frame for strong dark fruit. It is a little volatile on the back end but also refreshing. Very nice with lamb stew and peas! — 11 years ago
