this is on the spot. perfect fruit / freshness / body / balance / lenght.
discard every single angelo gaja white trash and keep in mind: this is one of THE ancient italian big 5. for a reason, i may add. — 10 years ago
Great sweet red wine! Full body, full flavor, suggests chilled but I have enjoyed it unchilled also. — 10 years ago
I liked a lot. Especially after it opened up — 10 years ago
There must be more interesting wines that nobody talks about coming out of Campania than anywhere else in Italy. Heard some great things about this one, though I must admit the first glass made me nervous--the initial whiff seemed bretty though it got quickly overtaken by the scents of fresh ripe berry fruit, but even then it didn't seem to have that extra dimension of rocky non-fruit personality that I love so much in the palagrello from Vestini, which might be my only other reference for this grape but great just the same. It takes awhile but some of that eventually comes out (i.e., make sure you decant the hell out of this thing). The red berry fruit turns black and crunchy and that Pessac-like scorched earth and smoky charcoal personality surfaces through fruit that's still fairly rich and ripe. — 11 years ago
#Vinitaly2014 Fortana grapes are grown on sands, with 5 centuries of presence of this grape (from Camargue, France) on the shores of Adriatic Sea (North-Eastern Italy). Fresh and crisp rosé wine, I really enjoy it. — 12 years ago
Red wine with Excellent crisp taste. I love the bubbles. Absolutely close to what Diana brought home from Italy. — 13 years ago
I have never been but it's on the list #cinqueterre
Salty citrus with a hint of bitter almond, and some white florals. Dry as a bone with a medium to light body, great acids.
Great add the the palate to try...distinctly coastal Vermentino. — 9 years ago
This 2006 dosage zero noir is one of the best bottle of bubbles I ever had. Ca del bosco does it agin. Beautiful elegant red fruit but totally dry, a freshness that is so Lively! — 10 years ago
Tastes like Italy — 10 years ago
After 10 years from the harvest I can say that finally I will remember the taste of this Franciacorta!! — 10 years ago
First time trying this producer. I can't wait to get more. 100 year old vines of Riesling, moscatella, timorassa, verdea, and bosco. Unctuous with notes of beeswax, dried pear, unripe apricot, and wilted white flowers. Nearly a masterpiece for less than 40 bucks :) — 11 years ago

I haven't lost that loving feeling — 11 years ago
First time trying a Grenache mouvedre and realized I don't know what I was waiting for! Absolutely amazing and surprisingly dry for having a Grenache grape mixture. — 12 years ago
This 2011 boasts a spectacular bouquet immediately uncorked. Ripe rich red fruit with hints of complex spices. The mouth feel is delightfully smooth despite being full bodied and dry. Good indication of a masterfully crafted blend. I'm biased however as I adore blends with Cabernet Franc. Well worth the price tag in my humble opinion. Great by itself or paired with roasts & game meats or cheeses. — 10 years ago
2007 vintage - floral aromas with dark cherries. Very good friendly. Smooth tannins with a lengthy finish. Nice! — 10 years ago

Excellent wine, underpriced for the quality! I visited the vineyards in Tuscany and fell in love for the passion and dedication of the family producing it! — 9 years ago
