Light, small spice, almost an effervescence. Delicious and versatile — 8 years ago
Dry with a peppery finish. Very drinkable — 8 years ago
Deep gold to pale amber color. Roasted almond, biscuit, caramel pecan, yeast, ripe apple, peach, a little bit corn, wet stones on the nose. Oily and full bodied, medium to high acidity and very lively, well structured, delicate minerals, voluptuous and smooth mouth feel. 15% alc. 2004 vintage — 10 years ago
This is an inarguably great wine. And all the more impressive to me that it is stylistically not my typical leanings. Serious power, depth, balance - still so young - and I'll be damned if this wine isn't mindblowing in 10 years. Bravo @Fritz Hatton — 10 years ago

What does a NC man do for entertainment- he drives to south jersey to visit a friend - that friend introduces him to a bourbon - solera aged style - so damn smooth - what heat disappears so quick it was shocking leaving an amazing finish - I truly appreciate this recommendation and I am believer Adam - total smiles — 8 years ago

Hot day. Cold Cider. Not overly complex but well balanced and thirst quenching — 10 years ago
2008: The overriding impression of the nose was smoky mezcal, no matter how many times I went back to the well. A silky almost glossy quality to the fruit. Most likely VA driving the nose, yet I imagine it's simply this bottle. — 11 years ago
Worth putting down. More concentration than zip. Intense pear action with a great dancing minerality. Layers of mandarin and lemony cream. Great creamy mouthfeel. If you close your eyes, you can smell the eucalyptus trees from the property. — 11 years ago

This is the 2016 Hudson Vineyard Little Bit. The first release of this select barrel Chardonnay. I’ve asked Delectable to add.
Coravining a taste to see if it will hold up under the backbone of a brined & rubbed Turkey.
The nose reveals candied & sour apple candy, meyer lemon, lemon heads, apricots, overripe pineapple, guava, beautiful medium intensity tropicals, buttered popcorn, honeycomb, bees wax, citrus blossoms, soft spice, butterscotch, lime candy, bread crust-brioche, caramel with fresh & withering yellow lilies.
The body is full, round, gorgeously sexy and like satin. The backbone, length, structure, tension and balance are incredible. Candied & sour green apple, golden honey crisp apple, meyer lemon, lemon heads, apricots, overripe pineapple, guava, green melon, nice tropicals, buttered popcorn, honeycomb, bees wax, citrus blossoms, allspice, butterscotch, caramel, lime candy, bread crust-brioche, caramel, limestone, volcanic minerals, dry river stones with fresh & withering yellow lilies and white spring flowers. The acidity is round & near perfect. The long finish is simply heaven over the palate...elegant, round and persistent as hell.
Only a 142 cases made and one of the best CA Chardonnay’s I’ve had in quite sometime. Get it before it’s gone.
This wine will continue to vastly improve with another 5-8 years in bottle. It’s an extremely rare comment from me but, this is a potential perfect score wine.
