Dried cherry and dark fruit nose. On the palate it is silky with subdued acid that shines in the finish. More tannic than most SLH pinots. — 9 years ago
Savory berries and cherry, dried roses, thyme, some anise, soft and mellow without much tannins but still pleasantly bright. Love it. From Botta di Vino in Red Hook. — 9 years ago
Smooth and elegant, on the drier end of Pinots. — 5 years ago
Practically perfect Napa red. I’d love a tad more dryness on the finish, but this is awesome. — 6 years ago
Wonderful!!!! Robust, but smooth. Dark fruits, black currant. Excellent for the price! — 7 years ago
On the lighter side of medium bodied. Lots of acid. Tar, cranberry, roses, sour cherry, From Dry Dock in Red Hook. — 8 years ago
Yum! Colors are amazing burgundy, like a very attractive rose. Initial smells very fresh to the cherry. Initial taste a lot of herbs and spice. Flavors dark with a lot of tannin. No mouthful... but it is soo spicy. Very complex. Barely to no aftertaste. 14.8 alcohol. — 5 years ago
The Genie in bottle came out in each glass... nice local surprise ... thanks Jack — 5 years ago
