Totally delicious. Honey, lilacs, apricot, green apple sweet and a balanced acidity, medium body — 5 years ago
Light gold. Looks young. Took 5 hours to open up and show its stuff. In hour 6 this was cruising. Saline and sea shells, wispy lemon fruit, some honey, some white stone. The guesses from the fellas were 2002 Rav Clos and 1996 Rav Valmur. Shows how these properly stored aged Raveneaus can age effortlessly. — 6 years ago
Very fresh and bright. Young and dynamic with honey and sweet white flowers. Zesty and fun — 8 years ago
Lovely yellow hue opens up a powerful nose filled with dirt, grass, rice, and honeysuckle. The palate proceeds to get smothered with a perfect amount of oak coupled with honey and lemon. A mildly tart finish makes this the perfect summer white. Great recommendation by the local rep and Happy 4th to everyone!....a mid-dinner update....massive green apple comes through with food! — 9 years ago
Floral, apricot on the nose. On the palette floral and honey. — 10 years ago
Classic Northern Rhone, waxy mouthfeel, butterscotch, beeswax, honey- very nice — 11 years ago
My favorite moscato. Perfect amount of sweetness and simplicity. Found at Trader Joe's. — 11 years ago
Sour honey, dried dill, quince, honeycomb, creme fraiche, lemon peel. Not as haunting as old tondonia, but always solid. — 12 years ago
Great Vouvray ! Citrus, pear and honey. Beautifully crisp ! — 12 years ago

#sauternes so sweet and balanced. Third of three bottles for my wife’s 40th birthday. We saved the best for last, as it turns out. Honeyed layers as this gently warms in a Burgundy bowl - caramel, marzipan, toasted almonds, some petrol, apricot jam. Tastes exactly how it smells with the acidity taking a step back from the honey sweetness swirling around a luscious oily mouthfeel. Touch of orange pith bitterness on the finish - lovely wine. Indeed it pairs well with Indian food but the force of this wine could have easily matched even spicier dishes. Beautiful wine and what’s amazing is it seemed this wine could easily go another 20 years. Good Sauternes is ever youthful. — 5 years ago
Medium gold, heavy in the glass. Awesome aged Raveneau nose. Notes of citrus, kimmeridgian white stone and light colored dirt, some honey, some spice. Great mouth feel, with acidity that powered up over 4-5 hours. Awesome with some angel hair pasta and shrimp, looking out over the Kohala Coast. — 5 years ago
Wowowow. Completely different from the nose than the palate. Honeycomb, white flowers on the nose. On the palate—pow! Salt bagel. Big, big flavors of Sea foam, lime, lime rind, huge minerality. A complex wine, and truly almost difficult to drink at times without wanting to talk about it. — 8 years ago
Impressive mix of honey and apricot. — 9 years ago
Sweet awesome No Alcoholic aftertaste when chilled properly — 10 years ago
Beautiful fruit, hint of acacia honey (however not sweet) and a superb acidity. Super versatile. Bravo @Charles Puglia you rock! — 11 years ago
Fresh floral aroma. Flavor of pears and honey followed by warm tannins. A lovely complex Chardonnay. — 12 years ago
Besides having a great, cool label - Herman Story wines are so spectacular. This is not your standard “red blend” & the Tempranillo/Petit Verdot give a great complexity. Easily paired w/ a huge range of food. — 5 years ago
Jack & Arden put together a wonderful evening of delicious food and great wines, and a few of us attendees contributed some bottles to enjoy as well. Great night!
My contribution. Wow! The aromatics here are some of the most intoxicating I’ve come across. Ripe pineapple bathed in honey butter, apricot preserves, orange marmalade and honeycomb. Light on the palate with zippy acidity. Fantastic! — 7 years ago
Very sweet but not overtly cloying. Lots of custardy lemon & honey. Effervescent acidity in the end — 9 years ago
Honey on toast straight off the bat, walnut oil and a very light touch of twiglet makes me think this isn't in the greatest shape but shows some great complexity. In the mouth there is snappy red apple skin from the off though the mouthfeel is rather thin, sleek on the finish with plenty of class. — 11 years ago
Half-bottle. The wine was medium amber in colour and offered orange peel, apple, honeycomb, caramel, smoke, spices, sherry and a mouldy note on the nose. On the palate the wine showed orange, peach, apple, cane sugar, caramel, smoke, spices, creamy honey, some coffee, a hint of chocolate, sherry, mild black tea and a mouldy note, paired with medium-plus acidity, a creamy honey mouthfeel and very good length. Judged by this half-bottle the wine has just passed its plateau and started its slow journey on the downward slope. A good, medium-bodied Sauternes with lots of botrytis character. Drink now. 89 — 12 years ago

@derek's. Honey colored, few bubbles, tasted more like an apple cider than wine. — 4 years ago
