Not decanted. Initial vanilla oak notes blew off. Floral notes - palate was seamless and delicious with soft black fruits (raspberry), hints of game and liquorice. From vines initially planted in 1853 by Friedrich Koch. Likely to be the oldest Mourvèdres vineyard in the world. Must buy more. — 10 years ago

It is key to #DrinkLikeABillionaire, but tis dreamy to drink "from" a billionaire, here, an achingly gorgeous Faiveley L-#Chambertin 1990 acquired from the #Koch Sothebys auction - still robust, still explosively aromatic, suffused with that old autumn leaves Burgundy magic — 9 years ago
Reticent on the nose but explosive and powerful on the palate. Great acidity and peach/apricot fruit, some drizzled honey. — 10 years ago
Very good. Feels closer to etna than burgundy. — 10 years ago
2012 ***. Delicious but early days yet. — 11 years ago

Very light and spritzy. Blind I’d guess natural cru bojo. Nice with food. Good acidity and juiciness. Fun. Energetic. Has some depth that should be more apparent in a year. Better after a few hours. — 8 years ago
