This was a wow wine when it was 10-12 years old. I liked it over the Haut Brion of the same year back then. Fast forward 15 years and it did not hold up in our line up. Nice Graves nose and flavor profile. But it seemed awkward and muted compared to my previous memories. Perhaps a dumb phase. I was a very good wine just not the amazing 90 La Mission I remember. 91pts. It may have been the company. 82 Haut Brion and 86 Mouton. — 10 years ago
The 2014 has a wild opening of barnyard yumminess that runs a fast fruit-to-spice transition with an afterglow of tobacco and smoothness. Paired with food, it improves and can hold it's own. — 10 years ago
Good with breakfast. Super minimal expression. Definitely fading fast. Last year's rose. Drink it now or forever hold your peace. Still giving it a good rating because I'm the one that's the douche drinking old rose and I remember how good this used to be. 😜 — 11 years ago

eye level gravel with my hands dirty, nine pm, fifteen years, give or take, we wanted to carry, hold eachother, push, scared of what's to come and the 'what to do', i once told you, whispers, humming bird, beak-heart, "i would love to fast forward", and now, cliche on cliche, i just want to speak to you and imagine the 'what to do', clean hands at nine pm — 9 years ago
