Locorice braised candied cherries desert like distinctive — 10 years ago
A wine to remember. Plenty of fruit after 38 years. It continued to open for an hour and held on long after that. A truly special wine. many thx Mike for letting us help "rescue" this one from a worn out cork. — 11 years ago

Lovely light and crisp. Perfect Sauvignon blanc for back porch sippin. — 11 years ago
Great nose can't wait to taste — 12 years ago
A tannic monster. Figured a wine named "Wild Boar" is appropriate for Father's Day. This is so freaking dark in notes, but the color wouldn't allude to that. Color is red/purple and smells hot. Red licorice, peppercorn, anise on the nose. High tannins on the palate. Cedar, smoky, beef jerky notes to it. Spicy rhubarb too. If opening now, this needs at least a two hour decant. — 9 years ago

Drinking this wine made me forget Donald Trump was our president. Which begs the question, is it better to have drank, then to never drank at all?

This is everything I expected and more. Worth every dollar.
