Macio, encorpado mas simples. Vale a pena como um vinho descompromissado. — 10 years ago

Herdade do Peso Colheita 2010, one of my favorites!!!!!! — 12 years ago
Fantastic Portuguese red blend with native varieties - rounded, juicy, berry-like, a hint of smoke, and a decadent mouthfeel. Not dazzling or super complex, but extremely comforting to drink. Insane value! — 7 years ago
Beautiful wine. It came as a complete and oh so pleasant surprise. I had no knowledge of this wine/winery and therefore had no expectations or preconceptions. It was a gift, which meant that I had not seem its price tag. The first sip made me a fan and the ones that followed solidified the admiration. Velvety, full bodied but not "overweight", nice lasting taste, neither fruity nor earthy. A pure joy. — 9 years ago
The first Portuguese red I've genuinely liked a lot. Slight tingle on the tongue, good legs, reasonably priced. — 9 years ago
Not its best version, still too young still, but one can I say? An icon, Alicante's mentor! — 10 years ago
A hot area in the south of Portugal so unique for this white varietal — 11 years ago

Vinho intenso de sabor marcante e rigido no inicio, com presença de frutas vermelhas maduras, mas preencha a boca com taninos firmes. — 10 years ago

Took one and a half hour to open to perfection. And perfection it was! The initial tight tannin structure opened up to layers of flavor of vibrant red and dark fruit, pie cherry, fig, hints of cinnamon, cedar and an earthy finish. — 7 years ago
