Emphasized by Sauvignon Blanc's history and the description of Sancerre as a place, it was surprisingly appreciated. Overly cold unfortunately which mutes much of the flavour you would expect from this 1er Cru from the excellent 2014 vintage for white burgundy made by the baby faced assassin Henri Boillot. I might add to this note once it has warmed up. Very lemony. — 8 months ago

Decanted for 1.5hrs, but really opened up after 2-2.5hrs. Initially muted but as more time elapsed notes of black cherry blackberry followed by mushrooms, dominant dark earthiness and leather. Appropriately balanced acidity along with medium tannin that lingered well. Really nice! — 4 years ago
