Excellent taste with red meat. Very enjoyable — 6 years ago
This pretty much doesn’t exist anymore. I have two more left and then gone forever. My palate is happy. Plum and cherry. Super heavy and strong. Getting older didn’t hurt this one as it was stored well and decanted for a few hours. — 7 years ago
Interesting. Notes of citrus and high acid. Minerality galore. — 7 years ago
This is a Hendry Block 8 Cabernet Sauvignon vintage 2002. This was part of a warehouse sale Hendry had when they discovered a lot of wine that had been stored off site. Wine club members could get a case of wine (winery choice) for around $20.00 per bottle. What a deal...we got some gems. Was a little worried as the top half of the cork had started to disintegrate and I feared the worst. The bottom half of the cork was intact and almost immediately lovely fruit aromas filled the room. Big sigh of relief and joy! Amazing how well this wine held up! Lovely fruit aromas with velvety tannins with a nice lingering finish. — 8 years ago
1/2021. Nice medium bodied red. Deep purple and slight nose. Opened up nicely. Paired well with the veal chop at Hall’s Chophouse. — 5 years ago

Still holding extraordinary balance and smooth first and last sip. Color has lost some luster but a powerful Zinfandel. I wish I knew how much it would cost today. — 8 years ago
Wine geek white, nuff said — 8 years ago
Showed well. Fruit still present nice balance with the acidity for the presence of dark fruit and a long finish — 5 years ago

What you would expect from Hendry Chardonnay - smooth fruity lively nose, creamy slightly nutty palette (not too much though). Enjoyed with scallops and roasted vegetables in N.J. — 7 years ago
Well balanced, low in tannins, and pairs well with beef and pork. — 8 years ago
Very well-structured but light Pinot. Delicious! Lots of compliments on this selection. — 8 years ago
