all what I expect from a grand white: slight but fun oxidation, radiant acidity, great texture for an enchanting aromatic kaleidoscope of flowers, minerals and tropical ripe fruit.

One of my favorite wines, Heintz Syrah from Salinia (@TheNPA) — 12 years ago
Stunning! Smoky and nutty aromas. Creamy hazelnut and orange blossom with stony minerality. Lively acid. 13.1% alcohol. — 11 years ago
Cut grass, chamomile, grapefruit, lemongrass and sea spray. Typical Heintz vineyard herbal elements: sage, hay, green olive. Mineral-dominated palate. Fresh and saline with vitality and drive. Peach, nectarine and tangerine with sweet spearmint notes. Broad and generous, long and layered with a pleasing bitterness to the finish. Drink 2015 to 2020.
Heintz vineyard. Whole cluster pressed. Barrel fermentation and complete malolactic fermentation. 13 months aging in 39% new French hogsheads followed by four months settling in tank. Released November 2014. — 11 years ago
This is a more than worthy Pinot Noir from Sonoma Coast. Indulged in 2 bottles of this Pinot and both drank consistent with high quality Sonoma Coast producers. Not sure what these other folks are tasting who rated this wine. — 12 years ago
Slight cream, hint of lemon, acidity has mellowed, very smooth — 11 years ago
WOW event. Great vineyard, nice to taste a fellow Chardonnay from one of our favorite spots — 11 years ago
Brilliant pale gold color. Savory and sweet aromas: pear, fennel, cut grass, crisp apple, lemongrass, quince. Generous palate entry but quite delicate, round and mellow. Tangerine, lemon and almond. Progression along the palate, subtle richness but always pinpoint acidity. Truffle and hazelnut finish. Drink now to 2016.
Heintz vineyard. Whole cluster pressed and barrel fermented with native yeast. Complete malolactic fermentation and 15 months aging in 40% new French oak. No filtration at bottling. Released November 2012. — 11 years ago
