2007 Peter Michael Point Rouge Chardonnay. HB w MnD and J&D B. We loved this wine wine so much at the Heart concert and we loved it tonight. Floral, along with notes of buttery brioche and oak. However, somewhat surprisingly, as we drank this in comp to the 2013 Ridge Monte Bello Chardonnay, it did not win out. Still such a great wine that we really, really enjoyed. — 9 years ago
This is a very nice light white with citrus, lime flavor. Excellent chilled white to enjoy on the deck. — 9 years ago

1999 DRC Grands Echezeaux. Boy G at HB w B&K K. Tight at first, but hoped it would open up. It did, but unfortunately, that only made the wine slightly better. It is just going through a funky phase. K noted that it wasn't the first time we thought that abt this vintage recently and should hold off until it comes back around. — 9 years ago

Interesting, has a comparable profile to Muscadet. Good drink. — 12 years ago
2001 Dominus CS. Boy G at HB w B&K K. Drank this after the '99 Grands Echezeaux. Total gear shift, but unlike the previous wine, this drank as we had hoped. Interesting comp to the '97 Sassicaia, which was our fave of the night. This was super green and I guess we all just favored the flavors of the Italian. — 9 years ago
1990 DRC Richebourg. HB w MnD and J&D B. J said this was his fave of the DRC's and it was drinking beautifully. Such a treat on a warm summer night. Last we drank this was almost a year ago, when we really thought this was spectacular. Tonight was the same- it was drinking perfectly. Beautiful brick color, balanced. We got note of dark fruit, mineral, and lots of forest floor- both earthy and a little funky. Spectacular. — 9 years ago
Not the greatest vintage, but a real treat. Great fruit aromas, silky smooth, well crafted a hint of RS... HB style for sure! A good amount of sediment, but very typical for an older Cali CA. I would recommend resting the wine vertically for a few days, then decant and enjoy! — 10 years ago
Steve brought it over, from a tasting room south of Sonoma square, a zin that tastes more like a cab. — 10 years ago
Again, hard to tell by the sample label at the winery but this is the Blanc and it's 66% Sauvignon and 34% semillon. Completely different than la mission HB which is right across the street! A more electric style featuring bright acidity, thanks to the racy Sauvignon. Elegant too. Wow, this is awesome to have both Fat and Fresh! — 11 years ago

1999 Domaine Dujac Clos de LA Roche. ELO at HB w J&H R and Leon. Very mellow and delicate- nothing overt- from the get-go. Gained some really interesting savory, meaty notes as it sat in the glass. Thought it drank really well. — 9 years ago
