A rare gift from a Kiwi. What a blinder, not super strong but just right. Ate with lamb — 10 years ago
Arietta is an oenological
tribute to Beethoven created by the musical minds of John Kongsgaard and Fritz Hatton and the latter has taken over the project, expanding it to include this blend of several white varietals that is crisp, citrus-driven and very food-friendly! — 11 years ago
This is an inarguably great wine. And all the more impressive to me that it is stylistically not my typical leanings. Serious power, depth, balance - still so young - and I'll be damned if this wine isn't mindblowing in 10 years. Bravo @Fritz Hatton — 10 years ago
I wasn't thrilled with this one when it went to bottle, but for me it has really come around. Very floral, intense aromatics. Ironically I get the too much oak comment... yet this was in only 6+ year old barrels. ??? — 11 years ago

Pure, clean wine. Highish acid, great texture. Salty, mineral, reserved upon opening. More elegant, not boisterous fruit. Slammin easy drinking BBQ wine. Opens nicely after 1-2 hours.. then dark fruits show. Polished. Zero sulfur. — 8 years ago
