Sonoma Coast showing deeper, darker and more earthy fruit than the Russian River here....very "Oregundian".... — 9 years ago
An amazing combination of decaying earthiness meets candied berry sweetness. Unique and extremely well executed wine. — 9 years ago

Absolutely delicious! Brian, you have never steered me wrong! — 7 years ago

A beautiful, soft nose with notes of plum, blackberries, black raspberries, kirsch and a touch of wild flowers. The palate is surprisingly light and elegant with bright acidity. Flavors of black raspberries, kirsch and a touch of soy lead to notes of oak and spice. The finish is long and elegant with lingering acidity and bramble fruits. — 8 years ago
Deep purple beauty with muddled black fruit, menthol, and graphite on the nose....a mouthful of stewed plum, white pepper, and oak shadings precede a decent tannic kick.... — 9 years ago
Lovely wine, has a little salinity to it in my opinion — 9 years ago

Deep, inky purple in the glass with generous blackberry flavors and a spicy, tannic finish. Never met a Hartford Zin I didnt like... — 11 years ago
It’s a very rich style chardonnay, but it’s unapologetically delicious. Professional scores have it as high as 97 and the purity of fruit along with the deft use of french oak and balanced acidity are certainly deserving. It strikes a nice balance even with everything amped up and an alcohol level of 14.6%. Only 326 cases made, if you see a bottle in the wild drink it! — 6 years ago

So far my fav 2017 rose. Crisp and lively — 8 years ago

Very nice flavor with strong fruit but not overwhelming. Little bit of spice, but fairly good balance overall slightly biased towards fruit side. Finish is medium long but not very tannic or acidic — 8 years ago

Green pepper, graphite and tobacco on the nose. Spice, raspberry, pencil shavings and leather on the palate. A little on the high end of alcohol, but it burned off a bit on the second day. — 6 years ago
