Silky smooth, soft fruits. Hint of leather, cherries - maybe strawberries. Beautiful. — 8 months ago
Starting to find that good California pinots are better after a few years or a few days after opening or both. — 7 years ago
Awesome raspberry and milky once it's aerated. Fav Pinot — 9 years ago

Lead pencil, veg, spice cedar combo and some dark plums on the nose. The taste had some plums and a bit of veg. The finish was okay but a bit short. Overall a great wine and my last 2016 and now on to the 2017s. — 2 months ago

Excellent Pinot but I think inferior to the Tetarossa lineup — 4 months ago
So very velvety. Smooth and delicious. It has a fine finish and a very light bouquet.

Light, acidic, fruity, and slightly earthy. Floral on the nose. Really nice. — 7 months ago
Well balanced RR PN, not too fruit forward or under matured. Solid — 8 months ago
That’s some nice drinkin’ stuff (circa 2017). Thanks to the local somm, Steve, at our Whole Foods for the recom... it was their last bottle and he sacrificed. — 6 years ago
Very fruit forward. Nice black cherry and tobacco notes. Hints of olive — 11 years ago
Ruby in color with a wide reddish/brick rim.
Fruit forward on the nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing sweet cherries, raspberries, blueberries, black currants, plums, chocolates, light oak, earth, cola, herbs, spices, light vanilla, licorice, peppercorn and tobacco leaf.
Nice tangy finish with soft tannins.
This 6-year-old Zinfandel blend from Sonoma County is drinking at its peak. Spicy and fruit forward. Elegant and juicy.
Great right out of the bottle, but even better after a few hours of air, when the complexity really comes to life.
The alcohol is very nicely integrated by now. Easy drinking and nicely balanced. A great sipping wine.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Excellent Zin with a lot of fruits; blackberries, cranberries and some dark cherries. Also, spice, cedar and more. Did not know what to expect as Zin’s don’t go for a lot of aging. Happy I found this one in my cellar and have a couple of other Ridge wines I need to drink up.
I stopped purchasing Ridge years ago as I got into lighter wines. Visited Ridge Winery last century and had an excellent tasting as I remember and met and chatted with Paul Draper. — 6 months ago
Fantastic bottle of wine! — 6 months ago
A beautiful, refined, bright, creamy wine. Tasting honeydew, white peach, butter, cashew, oak, and a hint of honey. Just what I would expect from Aubert (my favorite Chardonnays). — 9 months ago

2021 vintage. Pleasant throughout and hit plenty of notes without screeching. The KB style has changed in the last few years. Gone are the mega-extracted pinots altho those are still around and holding up in the cellars/secondary market. Those older wines were a 10 on the volume scale. The last few vintages are closer to a 5. That said, this should hold up and develop nicely for a decade+ without issues. Those that don't think you can drink CA pinot noir over 4-5 years old are in for quite the surprise with quality producers. 04.18.25. — 2 months ago
