Château Cantemerle

Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend 1975

Jimmy Hayes
9.3

Sweet little half bottle. Lovely detailed nose from the beginning, but hard and metallic on the pallet out of the gate. Opened and softened considerably. Sweet tannins, nice plump middle. Red currant.. Was good in he glass for 2 hours. Pas mal for a 375. #bordeaux — 9 years ago

Translucid ruby color. Nose of red berries, spices, earth with a leafy / tree scent. On the palate, nice fruit profile, small earthy and mineral bitterness, good acidity and fresh, spicy finish. French style Pinot. Very good (90)

Made of Pinot Noir coming from 15 different parcels from Flat Rock vineyards. Aged for about 8 months in oak barrels. Alcohol level of 12,5%

Half Acre Beer Company

Daisy Cutter Pale Ale

Half acre makes a great aromatic brew in the D.Cutter. You would be well off having one or two on a sunny day because it's not as heavy as some of its other IPA compatriots! — 10 years ago

Dom Pérignon

Brut Champagne Blend 2000

2000 vintage. Medium lemon hue. Very very fresh. Zingy and delightful. Some nutty development already showing. Depth of citrus fruits, hints of bergamot. Green peach. Medium minus body. Good lingering finish. A classy wine. Leave 5 years+ before opening. NB: after an hour and a half, the wine has added weight, more concentration and a developed nose of almond, hazelnut and stone fruits - sweet apricot and some caramel. Delightful and moreish. — 10 years ago
