Amazing wine, loaded with personality. Not for everybody, this oak aged version also include blocked MF, so it's seriously dry on the mineral-lazed finish. Quality of fruit is great and sports grilled lemon, ripe pear and green tropical elements; this is a big, detailed and supremely balanced class act wine. — 10 years ago

Another gem in a $50 mystery case. 60 Syrah, 40 Grenache, 2 years in Demis. The wine is bright, clean, complex, layered and spicy. This wine kicks ass for <$5. I sniffed, tasted and dumped. Funk, yes. But in the RIGHT way. A subtle yet inviting nose. Fruity but not overpowering. Taste is just a little spicy but not too much. If you enjoy spice this will really be a treat. Delicious, dry finish. I really like. Excellent, budget-friendly wine :) — 9 years ago
