Pfalz Pinot Gris. Same vinery as the Pinot blanc but 2014, so one year younger. Interesting gold with lightest brownish tinge. First time I've encountered this colour.
Toast with dried pineapple jam, orange juice, later grapefruit, roasted sesame, oak.
Med body, balanced acidity, light silk. Feels lighter than PB despite oak. Oak and citrus, sprite palate. Grapefruit and dried pineapple aftertaste.
Overall oak is nicely balanced with nice fruit. — 10 years ago
you better have this vinery on your screen! one of my personal discoveries at vievinum 2014. super likeable winemakers (each of them in a bread-and-butter job with big names and at their own little estate as well).
homeplay. one of my favourite blaufränkisch!
for me comparable look and feel to prieler's "goldberg", which is a BIG yardstick! elegant, cool type with complex palate and just the right arc of suspense. makes me smile ~~
so i correct my entry line:
you better have this vinery in your cellar!

Earthy and floral aroma, good mixture of sweet and acidity. Got this in Budapest, after a taste session in a local bar. They bought all the bottles from this vinery. Will definitely collect it when see it again. — 9 years ago
vinery: kurt angerer, kamptal, austria
wine: "redgranite" 2011, 100% syrah
805 bottles produced
this may be the most expensive austrian red i reckon at the moment: 170 euros.
well, it makes fun, you can taste the grape variety and the soil. — 10 years ago

Delightful wine from Tenuta La Badiola. 100% Alicante, vinified in Franciacorta. It is an experiment not in commerce out of vinery and next year it will be ready the blend Alicante and Chardonnay. Beautiful wine, only in magnum size , 25 euros. — 12 years ago
One of my "Vine of Turkey"- Favorite's. Was on their Vinery last year, worth to see - worth to taste their vines! http://www.urlasarapcilik.com.tr/ — 9 years ago
The bottle that got me into wine!! Drank it for the first time at my sister's wedding at 290 Vinery in Johnson City, Texas in December 2016. Fell in LOVE with it!! — 9 years ago
you better have port wine on your screen, and graham's is a big player, big in quality, though, as well!
never say "industrial" here.
qd malvedos is a sub vinery and allowed to make it's own vintage ports in years graham's doesn't declare.
this is a catch, really, if you are lucky enough to get it! — 10 years ago
A great bottle tasted in the cellar from the vinery. Only few bottles left. Very earthy. Amazing! — 11 years ago

Good Riesling in this price segment. I like the well balanced fruit, apricot and pear i guess and some grass and green herbs, light and floral, vividly acid, mineralic saltiness. Biodynamic Vinery Pflüger on the rise. — 9 years ago
