Acidity is great but remains balanced. Toasty Toasty, dry finish and clean. Long and beautiful. We love!! — 9 years ago
Still -- hell, more than ever -- the best riesling producer in the new world aside from Grosset. Better than most old world producers too. Subtle petrol, heavier on the river rock and slate, with ripping acidity that pares the musky apricot, tropical fruit and lime down to the barest, leanest essence. So dry it makes FX Pichler look like Columbia Crest, and a glassy, electric finish that goes for minutes. Considering his 2006 is still probably a decade away from maturity, this is also young by a fair piece, but far from hard to drink. And I'm not just saying that because it's my wife's and my wedding wine. Shoulda been there, suckers. — 9 years ago

Good balance, good complexity — 7 years ago
The antithesis of typical overly acidic Aussie Riesling, this has subtle sweetness, texture, honey, grapefruit, not overpowering acid, good length. It's not Prüm or Grosset, it's its own thing and just great easy going, enjoyable drinking. — 8 years ago
Light gold color with green hue. Nose of petroleum, lime, pine tree and rocks. On the palate it is quite fat (Vaseline?), hint of minerals and green with pine and dry herbs flavors, acidity and fruit on the finish. A type of Riesling I’m not having that often, more opulent and ripe, but quite tasty. Very good+ (90)
Drank along a Tonschiefer Riesling Trocken 2012 from Dönnhoff, this Mesh Riesling was the group favorite, but mine was the Dönnhoff for its higher acidity level and the additional “bite” it has.
Wine made by Jeffrey Grosset and Robert Hill Smith, renowned Australian winemakers. Made of Riesling from two vineyards and have an alcohol level of 12.5% #dansmonverre — 9 years ago
Great Aussie red. Generous, but varietal and calmly powerful. — 10 years ago
So different and so good. 12 yo South Australian Riesling. Golden yellow but no old Riesling honey...more like kerosene and pear. It just doesn't finish. Thanks to Wine House Melbourne for the great recommendation ("something like Grosset Polish Hill but that I can't find outside Oz.") — 7 years ago

Many of the Wine scribes in Australia are spruiking the 2017 vintage in Australia as superlative for Riesling. This Vickery did not disappoint. Aromas of Musk and Lime. The palate is richer than expected with the pronounced Acid one would expect. A long future ahead. On the basis of this I have ordered a mixed dozen of 3 different Rieslings from 2017 made by Jeffrey Grosset from the Clare Valley. — 7 years ago
