LOVE. Loire might be my favourite French region.
Some green pepper on the nose. Dangerously drinkable. Food friendly. Went well with spiced ground beef and rice, but this red would be a good companion for red or white meat, Indian dishes, or on its own. — 4 years ago

This really overdelivers for <$90 on the list at Marta. Very soft and pleasant mousse. Shimmering golden hue. Pretty red fruit. — 5 years ago
Aging really well (as of May 2018). Smells a little hot and ripe, but mellower than expected fruit. Cherry and apple crisp, without too much jammy mouthfeel. A lot more finesse than expected. Like watching a linesman who can dance the tango. — 6 years ago
Love it! Paired with Manchego Midnight Moon, and Aged Gouda cheeses for the appetizer. — 7 years ago

Buttery for a rose. Light citrus. Crisp grapefruit rind, slight tarragon floral. Almost brut champagne finish. Great with risotto and grill/charred broccoli crowns. — 6 years ago
One of the best reds I've had in a long time.. — 8 years ago

Nose is plummy. Maybe a hint of stewed fruit.
Palate is sweet plums. Somewhat modern texture. Half way between Cali pinot and burgundy. — 2 years ago
