Malvasia Lipari 60%, carricante 40%. Light yellow, med+ aromas of citrus, salt, peach, med+ acidity and intense flavors of lemon, peach & apple. Can’t say long finish but the lingering acidic cut balanced by its fruitiness is outstanding. Buy more. — 8 months ago
A fascinating bottle. As other reviewers note, hard to tell just what you're smelling here, but definitely apricot/orange and acetone (in a good way). Super dry. Savory - not bright or refreshing - on the palate. Good match for fin fish. — 9 months ago
Crisp, great acidity, and nice citrus flavors. Drink this with fresh seafood & you will be greatly rewarded. — a year ago

Good balanced, good aftertaste of this wine blow you away. Purple color reminds young Saperavi or liquid consistency in the glass, or gouache concentrate.
Small tannins, low acidic, becoming elder would be jam.

Poured into a Boa decanter about 30min prior to service. The 2016 “Santa Chiara pours a brilliant, deep and slightly hazy copper gold color with medium+ viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with desiccated apricots, dried apples, yellow flowers, and curaçao. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium- tannins. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is super long and super amazing. This is such a wonderful bottle of Bea. When his whites hit, well…they really hit. Drink now with a short decant or over the next 3-5 years. Surprisingly complex, barnyard smell, unfiltered cider, grapefruit minerality, apple, funky. Better with food than on its own. Initial effervescence disappears quickly. Touch of honey. — 7 months ago
Wonderful light and flavorful. Light golden color. Great with seafood. — 8 months ago

Alto Adige on full display with tart bitterness of pitted fruits and slate. Lush tropical notes and a hint of vanilla (the Chard?) round out the frame. Not much of a finish to speak of. Crisp enough for seafood, but with a ripeness that will pair well with a host of cheeses or your favorite South Asian hot sauce. QPR heaven too! — 7 years ago

White peaches & honey melon - the typical Rich bodied Greco with nice acidity and a whiff of white pepper on the finish. Not bad for uncomplicated holiday sipping. — 6 years ago

Outstanding wine. Minerally and saline. Excellent seafood wine. Not cheap, but shows what Carricante can do on the east slopes of Mt. Etna!! — 4 months ago
