Delightful, easy drinking primitivo. Really exciting on the nose: blackberry, tobacco and dark chocolate. Cinnamon white pepper, and Hungarian paprika are added on the palate (midpalate to finish), and the dark chocolate notes appear more as dark roast coffee on the palate. Score is lower than I would give it otherwise because it is a bit flabby for my taste. This makes it a good easy drinker though because it is very smooth. Acid is on the low side for the varietal and you really only get the tannins on the finish. Definitely one to buy again though. Good value at $20 and quite approachable for dinner party guests. — 8 years ago

Absolutely delicious interpretation of the Susumaniello grape. Has a beautiful aroma of strawberries and blueberries on the pallet it has a nice viscosity and a lean balanced body. Overall nice acidity and long lasting finesse 🍷✨ Salute! — 7 years ago
It has a funk at the end that I haven’t decided if I like it or not. But still, get red wine. — 7 years ago

The color is extraordinary. Nice and dry, perfect with seafood on a porch overlooking the Adriatic. — 9 years ago
Strong kick but great flavor. Heavy liquorish and dark fruit with a lot of tannin. A break from the norm can be rewarding. — 9 years ago
