OMG--this old
#Latour is so massive that you could eat it with a fork!
One of the greatest vintages of the 20th century, and, even now, this wine has years of life ahead of it!
And to think that I used to work in a wine shop that had cases piled up ten high priced at $50 per bottle! #1959 — 10 years ago

Intensity in ten cities...375ml but lots of power still wound up in there — 11 years ago
Sensation Grand Cru infanticide. Five to ten years more cellar time needed — 11 years ago
Southing is not that good as Ten, but still nice — 13 years ago
2012. From a tiny parcel abutting grand cry Musigny. Great drinking now and for ten years. But if you can find it. — 10 years ago
I continue to be impressed with Colorado wine. Wonderful weeknight wine paired with a steak, sweet potato, pear and spinach salad. Poured in my glass 30 minutes before drinking to let breathe. Bordeaux blend w/ plurality of Cabernet Sauvignon (43%), Petit Verdot (30%), Cab Franc (14%), Merlot (8%), Chardonnay (3%) and Malbec (2%). Perfumed nose (violets, red berries), good spice and fruit on the entry, medium body, and tannins to last for a few more years if desired (maybe 2017-2018). Becomes more nuanced over an hour, it may pair well with elk or venison if decanted. — 10 years ago
Amazing this year! Can't be beat al fresco. — 11 years ago
tart acids in front with no fruit--after ten minutes, the acidity melded into the background and gorgeous fruit and tertiary elements filled nose and palate, becoming a gorgeous bottle of red Burgundy--more finesse than expected from a Gevrey. Stunning wine. — 11 years ago
Well. It's young. Serious Oaked up nose. Even so quite pleasant and intense on the palate. It'll be perfect in Ten years. — 11 years ago
The Bordeaux I've had over the last six months has, I must admit, left me sceptical as to why Bordeaux is so brilliant. With the exceptions of Chateau La Cardonne 2003 and Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste 2001, much of the Bordeaux I've had has left me disappointed. This bottle however reaffirmed to me the beauty of the region. Just an astonishingly good wine - 2005 of course being an excellent vintage - whose only let-down lay in my not opening the bottle a few years later; the wine would definitely benefit from a good five to ten years' more age, to soften the tannins and allow a longer finish. I am however being fussy. It was fantastic. — 12 years ago
Young and smokin' - give it ten more years — 10 years ago
It'd be a lot better in ten years, but I was impatient. — 11 years ago
Nose is unique.
Love to drink ten years later — 11 years ago
A lovely sparkling from Tassie. A fine bead, delicate restrained nose and graceful yet powerful palate. Ten years young. — 11 years ago
Green bell pepper. Great bright fruit and balanced acidity. Can go another ten years but after decanting 2 hrs, drinkable today — 11 years ago

Ten years old and drinking like a champ! Pear skins and petrol, with a lush texture that pairs very well with Coq Au Riesling. — 10 years ago
