A bit of oxidation, but otherwise, just fine. Fruit still there. 1970, 45 year old wine for our 45th Anniversary. — 11 years ago
Lots of fruit, smooth wonderful wine but for the money- I will choose to not go the special select route — 11 years ago
Always a good and steady go to! — 10 years ago
1990: Corked, unfortunately. My mom had the best line, "It sure tastes better than it smells!" I recall what it was like on release, hard candy sweetness with a surprisingly light framework, particularly compared to both the '88 & '89 on release, and the crazy depth of the'90 Ch. Filholt Creme de tete, which was massively concentrated. This bottle still had oomph, yet wasn't all there. — 11 years ago
15.2% - how can you go wrong? Ha!
Not a bad wine - full bodied, on the sweeter side but not "jammy". Nice! — 12 years ago

Enjoyed 83 LLC a lot - perfectly mature, great aromatics and fruit was there to stand up to structure. — 10 years ago
An easy to drink go-to weekend wine for less than $10 — 11 years ago
Such a great "go to" wine. Crowd pleaser from the new wine drinker to the experienced Somm. Delish summer white! — 12 years ago

Has held up quite nicely considering sir Parker's initial 86 rating. Great earthiness, black fruit, tobacco and spice and completely smooth and lacking any tannins whatsoever. Was go time 5 years ago but still held up quite nicely - Carl's place 06-02-16 — 10 years ago
