Smooth and savoury with medium acidity, red fruits, earthy, herbs and well developed rounded tannins.
This wine is food friendly.
I got a kilo of local Matsutake mushrooms from a forager friend and made risotto.

Smooth, no pepper, hint of chocolate. 70% Corvina, 30% Rondinella. I believe Villa Cavarena is an Allegrini family label, from their Co-op?
