Port-esque. Garnet color, rich rounded nose of dried stone fruit. Very low “mouth drying” tannic quality. — 8 years ago
Dark and brooding dolcetto. Excellent pairing for bit heftier pizza or pasta. This reminds me that I'd need to drink more Dolcetto — 8 years ago

Magnificent super Tuscan. In the same class as Tignanello. Beautiful, ready to drink. Decant it if you can but it's fine to pop and pour, swirl and go! — 7 years ago

Ceccherini Cristiano
It also has a bit of chardonnay and riesling in various percentages depending on the vintage.
Favorita vines are pretty old, they were planted in 1980. It is a clone of vermentino apparently that has established itself in Piemonte.
The wine is dry, personality, freshness and it is easy drinking.
The price is a bonus.
