Bright fruit with nice acidity and fine tannins make this a great match for food! โ 9 years ago
Very light color almost like a rose. Spectacular aromas of blackberries, Kirsch, lemon zest. Tea leaves on the back palate. Very unique none of the leather one usually gets in Barolo's. โ 10 years ago
High tannins and acidity. Earthy. Needed to be decanted hours before drinking. Lovely pairing with dark chocolate strawberries. โ 11 years ago
Hard mentha edge, yet full of classic favors that should develop with time. But quite yum now. โ 11 years ago
Young and awesome โ 11 years ago
The nose is textbook nebbiolo with cherry, sour cherry, tar, almond, hay, tobacco leaves, black tea and roasted pork shoulder juice ๐. The palate is rather big and bold with a strong acid drive, a dry palate through and through, some impressive width, cherry, tea and that savoury note reminiscent of the pork shoulder juice note I found on the nose. The mouthfeel is first soft and nice, with almost a sweeter touch, before a great tannic walls comes and disrupts the entire feel and triggers a rather long finish with tea, cherry, tobacco touches and again that savoury pork note. It's a lovely, not so complex nebbiolo but really well made and offering pleasure by itself or alongside dinner (we had it along chicken gizzard stew and it worked super well). โ 9 months ago
Year 2017. Lovely fruity taste and beautiful bottle. Perfect gift to friends for Xmas. โ 4 years ago
Solid Freisa, classical yet approachable. A great #pinotlover replacement โ 7 years ago
Beginning to show some secondary notes. Leathery, but youthful tannins. โ 9 years ago
Great dry red with a homemade pizza โ 10 years ago
'07 vintage. Knockout aromatics. Chunky and chewy, bit of time in the decanter and the haunting perfume raises its beautiful head. Brilliant structure. Classically trained. โ 11 years ago
Completely drinkable; what a pleasure โ 11 years ago
Great entry level nebbiolo. One of the most transparent expressions for Langhe. โ 11 years ago
Light bodied slightly frizzante - well balanced, fruit, spice, slight tang. Really nice! Leith got at The Wine Store! Would love to get again โ 9 months ago
Pale garnet color.
Aromas of red cherry, tar, cedar greenery.
Dry. Flavors of red cherry, tar, floral, orange zest. Firm tannins are lower than expected, but balanced. Great acidity.

One of the best vintage I've ever had, mushroom and great fruit. โ 10 years ago
Classic Barolo, great bottle to end a great dinner โ 11 years ago
Decent drop of Val, the hearty bouquet doesn't bely the depth of body and concentration. โ 11 years ago
"Odedi"
Ruby/ brick in color with medium intensity.
Beautiful nose of flowers, raspberries, earth, light herbs, light wood and peppercorn.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with mild complexity and a harsh mouthfeel.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This young Single Vineyard Barolo feels big and robust, but looks lighter than it feels. Very tasty though.
The 2019 Barolo vintage is less approachable now, but it's only going to get better from this point.
Needs a few years to mature in the bottle, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years. A good food wine right now.
100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for 3 years.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.
$150. โ 9 months ago
