A quite nice wine from Georgia - relatively limited experience with these wines, but clearly a strong winemaking tradition. Nice and inky dark in the glass, with lots of dark berry fruit. Medium bodied with medium minus tannins and good acid on the finish. For the price - and with Georgian food in Brighton Beach - a nice wine for sure. — 6 years ago

Grapes sourced from Oregon Valleys of Willamette, Umpqua and Rogue. These cool climates enable a longer growing season, giving an intense structure. Deep Ruby with ripe Berry fruit flavors and sweet spice. The 2014 is a bit richer than 2013, with ripe fruit, raspberry, cranberry and strawberry, with cinnamon spice. The East Bench Zinfandel is always a step up from the Three Valleys but without the age-ability or complexity of the Lytton Springs or Geyserville. This one is just at the front end of its drinking window and will likely show more in six months or so. — 7 years ago

Never in my life have I encountered a beverage like this. This is truly like liquid stone and stone fruit skin in the absolute craziest way. I don’t really know what to do with it but I will be back for more if for none other than shear interest. Not a quaffing wine and by no means is this fun, this is the most serious wine I have ever encountered. Not sloppy and not flawed. Georgian shamanism at its most psychedelic. — 8 years ago

Nice bubbly light gold color. Nose of bright fresh green apple, toasty nuts, salty minerals, subtle oaky note, banana, and a touch of pineapple. Taste of distinct refined salty minerals, ripe mango banana note, and bitterness like almonds. Aftertaste of slight zest from grapefruit, lingering minerals, and nutty notes .The salty mineral and banana flavor are definitely showing from this beautiful wine from New Zealand. — 9 years ago

Ok now ready to rate...like many of the qvevri aged Georgian wines, this seems to develop 'backwards?' it starts kind of fallen apart w young ripe fruit, lacking mid-late structure, missing acid...and then...all shows up. — 10 years ago
