Still enjoyable, if on the downslope a little too much — 8 years ago

Recommended by my customer in Alabama. He said it's what they prefer drink in the South, rather than the more commercial local brands. — 9 years ago
High fruit high acid. High deliciousness! — 9 years ago
Now this is a good Zinfandel. 15 percent alcohol, but you cannot feel much.
Smooth and not too bold. Red fruit on the nose and longer spicy finish. Long legs out of the bottle.
I need to give it an hour and see what evolves. Long, spicy finish with medium tannins.

Great after being opened for a night — 11 years ago
Jalapeño, bell pepper, habanero, cilantro, onion all uncooked and added in separate times during my distillation. Smells like fresh salsa and taste amazing. — 6 years ago
This wine is one of my favorite ones. It is a great price and a great tasting bottle. — 7 years ago
Nice clean sweeter American whiskey ...third one that night though — 7 years ago
Easy drinking. Great value for the money! Great wine to have at the pool. — 8 years ago
One fantastic example of how lush and smooth a Zinfandel can be! Dark fruit on the front end. Beautiful violet color. Velvet on the back end. — 8 years ago
A solid producer, vintage after vintage. This food wine is under 14% alcohol and caters to those who love new world pinot with old world sensibilities. — 9 years ago
Great Rose, dry, crisp and refreshing. One of my favorite Sonoma wineries. — 9 years ago

The estate dates back to the Crusades, and Scottish navigator, George Smith, the owner in the 18th century. He was followed by M. Duffour-Dubergier, Mayor of Bordeaux, and then Louis Eschenauer, a famous wine shipper. In 1990, Daniel and Florence Cathiard now own the estate. Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, darrk berry aromas, herb and spice. On the palate complex juicy black fruit flavors, cinnamon and cacao notes. Soft tannins, rich and full, lingering, mineral, youthful ending, needs time. — 7 years ago
My favorite gin to accompany tonic. Without a doubt more effervescent than hendrick's, but would recommend their dry gin for a gin martini. Very floral and delicious, little bit of spice. — 8 years ago
Roses and lychee. This vintage had more citrus pith as well. — 8 years ago
Towards the end of drinkable life. Pleasantly surprised by how much fruit was left. Great texture. — 9 years ago
2014 vintage is a stunner. Beautiful crystalline straw color, with crisp apple aromatics and ripe peach and lemon peel on the palette. Leesy and rich without any hint of heaviness. Great lifted finish. #phillipshill is on a roll. — 9 years ago
Delish! Fruity yet substantial, a great Pinot. — 9 years ago
