Gentile waxy aromas with notes of white flowers and just a hint of white peach. Juicy on the palate with soft sweetness balanced by crisp, fresh acidity. Flavors of peach and apricot lead to a bright, slightly stony finish with minerality that dances on the tongue. — 11 years ago
Bright acidity, fun buoyancy, a great wine — 12 years ago
Must be the most expensive scotch I've ever tried. Soft, gentile, rich. As good as the its price high. — 12 years ago
Fantastic!!! Huge!!! — 13 years ago
A beautiful, slightly darker pink in the glass. Aromas of cherry and rose petals mingle with just a hint of wet stone. A very gentile but refreshing frizzante on the palate with tiny, soft bubbles. Distinctively Pinot flavors of soft cherry, raspberry and currant lead to crisp, clean acidity and a drying minerality. The finish is dry and long with just a touch of tannin. A beautiful and different rose. — 10 years ago
Nice tart bite and fairly acidic, sweet cherry smell, very fruit forward but resides for awhile, alcohol is bright and overall good complexity but missing a level of cleanness I desire. — 11 years ago
Great Sangiovese with great price. Cherry and leather smelling. Somewhat fruity and hint of tannic. Went very well with braised tenderloin hearts. — 11 years ago
This wine was perfect to me. It was sweet and bubbly and bursting full of red fruit flavors. I've been trying a lot of white wines lately which have been delicious, but the red fruit flavors were a great change for me with this one! — 12 years ago
Surprising dessert wine with hints of blueberries jam and licorice: a long lasting bitter-sweet flavor... Malbo gentile is a rare native vintage of Modena hills and Luigi Boni gave us its master interpretations. — 13 years ago

Dry but delicate on pallate. Same prugnolo gentile, canaiolo Nero n mammolo grapes. Vino noble is aged two years in barrel. Needs three for riserva — 13 years ago
Bright, refreshing. Wonderful way to start the evening (yes I know it is white and its Italian) :0) — 10 years ago
Brought this back from our trip to Italy 2014 — 12 years ago
Earthy aromas mixed with a hint of sour cherry. Very old world on the palate. Lots of earth and acidity. Gentile tannins and just a hint of fruitiness. Short, bright finish. — 12 years ago
— 13 years ago
