1985 Domaine Ponsot Griotte-Chambertin w K and McC at Toscana. Wet cork and smelled dodgy at first. Two hours later, completely changed and opened up and became awesome. Super interesting to see how it changed. — 11 years ago

1988 Sassicaia. First red of the night at Toscana w K and McC. Decanted for close to an hour before drinking and it was an awesome treat. We loved it. So smooth, some earth and fruit, but very measured. Balanced and lovely. — 11 years ago
