Garnet color. Rustic nose of leather, very dark fruit, leaves, tar and mushroom. Very elegant palate with the same characteristics with a very long finish. Beautiful.

1990 Bruno Giacosa Asilia Riserva Barbaresco. Drank w B&ML M at The R Casual Fri dinner. Got better after a while open and in the glass. More light and thin than we anticipated. Not S dimensional as we had hoped. Still some fruit and red brick. Hasn't necessarily peaked yet, but should drink now/in the next couple years.
