A fresh, fruity nose with notes of lemon, grapefruit and pineapple and mango. On the palate the wine is light, crisp and very dry. Juicy flavors of lemon fill the palate with refreshing stone notes and lush, bright acidity. The finish is long and crisp. A perfect afternoon sipper. — 8 years ago

Orleans is a rare white wine grape variety grown in small proportions in Pfalz, Germany.
As a wine, Orleans has distinctive pineapple aromas and a slight spiciness. It shows excellent aging potential but, as it can be challenging in the vineyard, it is consequently quite unpopular with winemakers.
