Starts off like late be-bop with a great groove ; if you listen to it for a while and pay attention, you realize it's gone full-on fusion, complicated and funky and electric. Do yourself a favor and try wait at least three hours for that last glass (or more). Thanks, @Hardy Wallace ! — 10 years ago
Funky nose that blew off to reveal dark fruit and earth. Deep complexity. — 10 years ago

Second bottle of '92 showing much better so bumping this up. Really struck by how much it tastes of the funky bouquet of blackstrap molasses. Also a bit of resiny texture. Fruit is in good shape and still has a decent amount of acidity. Paired equally well with cumin tomato soup and tomato zucchini spaghetti — 9 years ago
Zippy fruity funky deliciousness. I would very much like to bathe in this. — 10 years ago

Funky smell and funky finish, smooth tannins. Balanced bitter flavors. — 10 years ago
Wonderful candied fruit with barnyard, meaty funky aromas. Med+ acid, soft tannin, med body, delicious and easy to drink. Interesting tangy(?) finish. Great wine, can't stop drinking it (but doesn't hold up the next day). Goes down very smooth but probably not for everyone, especially with that funkiness...but the fruit definitely helps. 2010 — 12 years ago
Super funky wine -- some petrol notes as it opens up, really unique. Def recommend. — 9 years ago
A loves!! Funky. Peppery nose. Medium to full. A says more on the full body side. Low tanins. — 9 years ago
Blind. Whole table guessed Cayuse. No surprise but close. This was really funky and yummy. Fun to drink. Better with food than as a sipper. I really liked it. Probably couldn't drink it all the time but a nice change of pace. Very intellectual flavor profile. — 9 years ago
Definitely drank too young, but man, it's darn good right now. The nose is funk and herbs, with some dry leather thrown in, the tannins hit hard right away, but aren't astringent or bitter. The mid palate holds well and the herby/funky classic CNdP carries through. There is a slight sweetness from the alcohol that is a bit more than what I want, but it's a great classic CNdP. — 10 years ago

Best natural wine. If u like funky wine this is one to try. This is 100% Sav blanc but doesn't taste like a Sav blanc. On nose star fruit and passion fruit. On palate green apple and some passion fruit with some kiwi. — 8 years ago
