2016 Vintage. Same notes as previously posted by @Al Shikoh but more time has been good. — 6 years ago

Last bottle... I thought I would pour it for you folks in quarantine land! Cheers be safe. Please let this open for 2 hours minimum! Because it is singing. My closest comparison is Booker or Fulldraw.... YES I’m not kidding. @Paul T- Huntington Beach @Shay A @leon egozi @Eric S @Eric LaMasters — 6 years ago
Not worth the price unfortunately, its good but not at $165.00 on release and especially for $250.00 retail!
Stick with Top or Fulldraw
Jeb 99 points, if it was $100.00 or less then I would agree, bad QPR
On the other hand the Cabernet ONES is the real deal, competes with high end Napa — 7 years ago
Finally had time to pickup my boxes from FedEx office today,
This is another Mike Smith winner, so Close to the Myriad Empyrean, just missing on the nose. Can’t wait to compare this to the Carter Las Piedras when they arrive.
Mags of Hunny Bunny Syrah from Fulldraw were also waiting for me with open arms — 7 years ago

2007 Vintage. 15.5% Alcohol. Estate Syrah from Eleven Confessions vineyard in the Santa Rita Hills. Now at it’s peak and unfortunately our last bottle. Belated Gail’s birthday SQN as most of our “liquid assets” were at the WineBank that was closed except for emergencies and acceptance of shipments during our shelter-in-place. Now allowing appointments to put away our spring shipments from Top, Fulldraw, Aaron, Benom, and more. Massive liquid raspberry and red fruits on the nose and palate with a finish lasting 5 minutes. Amazing wine and definitely birthday quality. — 6 years ago

One of the best rosés I’ve had in quite some time. 66% Grenache, 34% Mourvèdre. Bigger style with lots of complexity and depth to it. It’s as though someone took two of my favorite rosés, Arnyca (lighter style) and Antica Terra (super heavy style) and combined them. In the glass it has an absolutely gorgeous deep ruby color. Aromatically, it has spicy red fruits like rhubarb with watermelon, peppercorn and sea salt. It tastes remarkably like a gummy version of rhubarb, showing more spice at the finish. Not made in the crushable style, this deserves and commands some thought (and food)! My thanks to @Bill Bender for the wine and introducing me to the potential of this producer. — 6 years ago

Interesting comparison between the Fulldraw and Tynan wine. Both were opened about 2hrs. The flavor profile is somewhat similar between the two, showing chocolate and dark blue fruit for the Tynan and red fruit for the Fulldraw. Great spice and pepper with each. The main difference is with the tannins and finish. The tannins on the Tynan are fairly noticeable (in addition to some heat) while the Hard Point’s are already integrated. The Tynan’s finish is short compared to the Fulldraw and so I’m rating it a few points lower. Still a great wine imo, especially for the price — 7 years ago

A killer Rhone blend of GSM that the Brower’s shared with us last night. It was perfect with flank steak tacos and charcuterie. Predominantly Syrah, full bodied but elegant and opened up significantly after a quick decanting. — 5 years ago
