Wine 2 of 2 for Valentine's Day Revival Fried Chicken takeout! Some serious Chenin bubbles. Another wine with simultaneous richness and verve. Ripe, slightly bruised green apple and Anjou pear, smoky crushed chalk minerality, a honeyed, beeswaxy character, yeasty brioche dough, and some very slight anise-y spice and dried floral notes. Moderate weight with great oily texture and juicy, high acidity. Kinda like a good Savennieres with bubbles. Also awesome with Revival's fare. #Friedchickenandchenin — 7 years ago

Ripe Red Delicious apple, unmissable and unmistakeable. Lemon curd, brioche/autolysis at a moderate level, more on the toasty side, a bit of oxidation. Tight mousse but I served it a bit cold. Very good juice, and well priced at that. — 7 years ago
