So interesting as this evolved in the glass. Texture and richness. Citrus pith like with fresh avidity and slight tannin. Funky as can be — 10 years ago
Don't know another Cali chard that has the degree of Burgundian-ness that this guy has. Oak is present but just enough for texture and complexity. Mineral and bright bright fruits....oh and acid. A ton of stuff you don't find in Napa/Carneros. Fuckin great wine! !! — 10 years ago

Delicious Riesling, best I've had so far from the Central Coast. Floral nose and typical fruit. Lively acidity. Could achieve greatness if it were even more dry. — 12 years ago
HelLO, I am mesquite chic, rose water coriander infusion cool, sassafras hot and basically unexpectedly complex for a Cali Cab Franc. Holla! — 13 years ago

Yes. This is a white Zinfandel. No. It is not sweet. But still, it made me want to go grab my guitar and sit out on my back deck and play some John Prine songs. Either that or fill up the old bath tub out on the lawn and sit butt naked in some cool water on a hot day while slamming the whole bottle to my head. But seriously... we had this with Salmon and Yellowtail sashimi and it was perfect. This is a fantastic food wine and an even better porch pounder. — 10 years ago
Tasting this alongside Thomas Fogarty Santa Cruz Mountain Chardonnay 2013 to test the importance of context. It turns out that tasting White Burgundy IN Burgundy is pretty cool. This Burg is a nice wine, but it's probably not gonna bring you to tears. Generously sulfured, but after about 20 minutes it's not noticeable. Pretty serious little wine. — 10 years ago
This vineyard produces some of the most amazing wines but, this one was to die for! Sorry, not going to even try to sell you on it - just so there is more for me. — 10 years ago
Really nice Bordeaux blend. Smooth with nice finish! Would recommend! — 11 years ago

Mountain fruit. Light bright cherry turning to baked. The minerality in the finish is light but long. So happy right now, 2 years in the wine fridge and time did this beautiful creation justice. — 10 years ago

Loved this wine, well worth the wait in my cellar since 2009. The wine is still young and has at least a few more years, yet it is now smooth, balanced, round and pleasurable. Color is deep black, no signs of age, nose is sexy and smooth like velvet, with licorice, violets, black currents, light mint and sweet chocolate, body is full with round caressing tannins, lovely mild balancing acidity and a long delicious finish. A true pleasure. My first from this winery, not my last! My score 90, drink to 2018 — 10 years ago
Who knew Carneros Pinot could be this good? Tense, with fresh herbal aromatics and lightness, but with plenty of that musky, slightly decay-like aroma of aged red wine. It dances across the palate with more of a waltz than a tango. — 11 years ago
C inky, violet, opaque; N sweet, dates, oak; T date, blueberry, subtle raspberries, cocoa, slight sweetness comes through but balanced by acidity; enjoyed with Castiglia's Pizza; one of the best — 11 years ago

John Fogarty might have been happier to be stuck in Lodi if he had this. Stellar Zin. — 9 years ago
