Who knew Carneros Pinot could be this good? Tense, with fresh herbal aromatics and lightness, but with plenty of that musky, slightly decay-like aroma of aged red wine. It dances across the palate with more of a waltz than a tango.

Mind=blown. Pre harvest bbq. Those who didn't bail early were rewarded. Oldest I had prior to this was 1990 which really impressed everyone in the room at the 2015 library event. This was equally impressive. Fruit still present with balanced savory qualities. Acidity lively. So fuckin' cool to experience this.
