A new surprise from local warehouse. Presents itself at first like a light gamay but lingers into the pinot direction and stays there.
I feel much better about this than some reviews floating around. — 10 years ago
A classic Provençal rosé, Château D'Esclans Whispering Angel 2014 is, as the name suggests, a convivial and charming romp, with just enough of a mineral and earth underpinning to keep it from floating away. Alpine strawberries and raspberries on the nose, along with line-dried linen and wet river rock. In the mouth, fine-boned delicacy and airiness, the perfect expression of summer. — 10 years ago
Gorgeous, wow. An enticing salmon colour with an orange hue. Luscious mouth feel and clean finish. Nebbiolo yes please. — 10 years ago
First Friday of the season calls for an older Rioja. Imagine a secret library - old leather book covers, twinkly dust moats floating in a sunny patch, the slightest hint of strawberry jam from breakfast lingering on the palate. Or something like that. — 11 years ago

I love this wine, and have ever since my first bottle swig on a kayak floating in a high mountain lake with great company. The official wine of the #CPFL delivers again with chalky minerality and brilliant acidity balanced by sweet citrus flavors. QPR King! — 9 years ago
