Wild violet, roses and black fruit aromas. Medium to high acidity, that makes this wine very interesting 7 years after the vintage. Wonderful persistance, with a wild strawberry and cassis aftertaste. At a very good moment to drink. I truely believe that the best south american wines should be consumed between 5 and 7 years after the "cosecha". — 5 years ago

Bright black fruit aromas, very accessible and soft. Good balance of fruit and acidity, medium tannins and lively finish with blackberry, mocha and earthy notes. Great wine for easy drinking with friends — 8 years ago
Definitely decant and give it time to breathe — 8 years ago
Sabred this lovely bottle! Love the Blanc de Blanca from #GloriaFerrer . Crisp and refreshing but still textured with tight bubbles. Citrus is balanced with brioche notes.

Awesome Malbec from 100 year old vines in the Lujan de Cuyo region. Vibrant and ‘in your your face’ dark red cherry fruit with strong earthy mineral presence and green leafy herbal notes that was in balance with the wine and gave it interesting complexity. — 5 years ago
Great match with shrimp cocktail, crab legs with cilantro butter, and corn on the cob. Great food bubbly. — 6 years ago
Bursting with lush juice — 6 years ago
Delicious, all brioche and delight. Perhaps a touch sweet for my taste, but then I like ‘em beyond bone dry. Will be getting more and stashing it away. — 7 years ago
Tart and fruity. A joy to drink really. — 8 years ago
That, for lack of better descriptors, chardonnay wet wool flavor with a star-bright acidity. — 8 years ago
We recently pulled some cases out of storage, which haven't seen the light of day for nearly 15 years, so I'll have some fun posts in the next several months.
Nose has split oak firewood (barely seasoned), cigar box, moist cedar shavings, blackberry, dried black currant, dried roses, fresh violets, moist leather, dried lavender dark chocolate powder and graphite pencil shavings.
Palate has chocolate covered blackberry, tarry black cherry, cedar sawdust, dark chocolate bark, prune, anise candy, clay pot and leather. Very long finish, subtle tannins exist still, amazing wine!
Cork pulled, 2h rest, then decanted 6h, a perfect bottle, still young, future bottles may be 2023-30, without concern.

Perfect pair to homemade burgers from a local farmer in Columbia Co. NY (Kinderhook Farm), cooked to a beautiful medium-rare served on toasted brioche burger rolls. — 5 years ago
Deep garnet in color with lots of body, this Pinot drinks more like a Cab. Finished smooth with aromas of burnt cassis and licorice. — 5 years ago
Wife likes it a lot. That's all that matters. — 8 years ago
A favorite dessert wine that's strikes the perfect balance. Straight from the winery. Thanks Oz for the refill. — 8 years ago

Moderate fruit, medium acidity and slate notes. Somewhat deep with a medium finish. Better to go directly for the vinyes velles. — 4 years ago
