Favia's 2011s are awesome! Nice grip, fruit, savory and texture. Bravo! Is 2015 the year of Cali Syrah?? — 11 years ago
Stunning aromas and flavors in this youthful, yet already complex SB-version. Combines richness and elegance, finishing long and rewarding. Impressive! — 12 years ago
08' Palmaz Cabernet. I'll just jump right into it. I keep taking sips of this wine... thinking I've tasted this before? Two things come to mind. Rubicon & Favia cab combo.🤔Elegant, soft & silky. Chocolate, black fruits, dried red fruits. Not quite as complexed as those wines. That might have something to do with the vintage? Nevertheless, very appealing. Drinking now. What's not to like. If visiting Napa a great tour. — 9 years ago

Intense stone fruit. Epic finish. — 13 years ago
Ambitious stuff, produced by Andy Erickson of Favia fame, in collaboration with the owners at Sweden's leading steakhouse; AG. Dense and rich, displaying savoury additions to its abundant dark fruit flavors, offering toasty oak and a powerful finish. Well done. — 9 years ago

2014 Guigal Condrieu La Doriane
Wow. This wine is amazing. I love Viognier and drink a fair amount of domestic Viognier from solid producers like Alban, Roar, Reynvaan, Jeff Cohn, Favia and Herman Story. I love those wines but this is a different animal. This wine redefines the category. Impeccable balance, unbelievable minerality and a finish that lasts 45 seconds. This is a white wine that evolves in the glass in front of you and it is a 2014. I had this alone and then with food, Nicoise salad and it was great with ample acidity. This is a Viognier that is made like a Grand Cru white burgundy. My eyes have been opened to what is possible with this grape. BRAVO — 9 years ago
