As with Sparr's Gewurztraminer, this entry level pinot gris offers a classic summation of what the grape and style offer in Alsace. It's off-dry, medium body, wonderfully round in the mouth and altogether beguiling. Lemon, honey, hay, a bit of almond - it's a classic example at a very fair price. — 7 years ago
Just my style and I'll buy it again. For sure. — 9 years ago

This was a gift. A step higher sweetness level than I usually seek: "Demi-sec" is a conservative assignation. However, beautiful rosy-grapefruit finish, nice structure: beautiful pairing to spicy Thai noodle dish. — 10 years ago
Light. Crisp. Easy to drink on its own. Paired well with seafood. — 10 years ago
Enjoyed the complexity of this wine. Orchard fruit, green apple, peach, apricot along with notes of honey and burnt brown sugar. And typical great Riesling acidity. — 6 years ago
$55. Super deal, just slightly sweet with a brief sniff of petrol. When's the last time a Pinot Gris blew you away?? White flowers, marzipan, peach pit.. the sugar and natural bitterness of the grape balance well (bittersweet pairing). I liked the grand marnier/tangerine notes and heavy character of this wine. I'd bet $50 this is a warm Alsace year. Felt a little new world but had a French/Austrian/German mineral nose with my blindees.. they both called French Viognier, Marsanne/Roussane, Gewurtztraminer, and a RS Riesling to give an idea of this wine's character. Wine 101 on how to baffle the masses😈 — 9 years ago
Paired perfectly with Portillo's. — 9 years ago
Really nice smooth light white from big nose- had at Hamptons weekend. — 9 years ago
I think Alsatian Pinots are so interesting. They have these big earthy noses - I get tobacco and dried herbs and dustiness here, but they have such soft palates. This one has light cranberry and but follows up with earth and bay leaf and dry pine needles. It's the Pinot you can pair with white fish. — 9 years ago
I felt like I had tasted this before, but I knew I hadn't. I finally realized that it matched closely in taste to a Pinot based Gloria Ferrer sparkling wine I had a couple of months ago. Very good wine with or without the bubbles. — 10 years ago
Took a chance because I liked the label. Lush fruit with a good dose of spice. Long lingering finish. — 7 years ago
Affordable bubbly! Dry but fruity. Got at the huge liquor store! — 8 years ago
Very sweet. But complex and so smooth. For 6 month celebrations — 9 years ago

Perfect for brunch. — 9 years ago
Buttered toast on the nose, and I'm talking toast right out of the toaster with soft butter spread on top. Lots of minerals on the pallet, soapstone jumps out at me. The acids are very soft and don't get in the way of the orange and yellow fruits. Not too tart a little hint of pear. This is a good sparkling wine with layers and and a nice complexity. Another great wine from Alsace! — 10 years ago
