Oaky influence on the nose & this is more opulent than elegant. Pure deep red fruit & a red apple note on the finish. Acidity is structurally in front of tannins, but they show themselves clearly as this opens up. Fantastic. — 10 years ago

Part of Nebbiolo's deception is its ruby red color. The flavors or tar, violets, and red fruit are unmistakable. When some of your pals are switching to party whites a man must keep pounding the Reds. This is a great wine at almost QPR levels.
