Really delicious. I did however taste a very, very slight amount of oak, but learnt this wine is fermented in stainless steel barrels. I soon read that they add “Indigenous Yeast” so I’m curious if this yeast is responsible for that slight, lingering wood on the tail end. Certainly wasn’t put off, though, and very much enjoyed. Well balanced acidity and concentration. Ripe, juicy, and absolutely worth cellaring, see how it ages. Would definitely drink again. — 6 years ago
Lovely and smooth garnacha with some fruit, slight acid and pepper. Perfect with a steak and Frank Sinatra. Enjoy! — 7 years ago

I am really enjoying this cab blend. So well balanced with about 1/2 cab, 30% garnacha and the balance samso. So nice to be able to enjoy the harmony with a reasonable 14.5% alcohol level. Don’t get me wrong, I like massive cabs too but not every time I pop a cork. My sincere appreciation to Will Burkholder for introducing this Spanish beauty to me!! — 8 years ago

May1, 2019. Lovely medium bodied Montsant. 47% Grenache, 22% Carignan, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Syrah, 4% Tempranillo. Very floral on opening. Cranberry, grapefruit, and a bit of spice. Nice acidity, soft tannins. Yummy. — 7 years ago

In one fell swoop kick off the sandals, throw off the shirt, hop skip across sun-baked flat tile stones and dive with a swan’s assurance into the seaside swimming pool, warmed only by the elements, and just as mysterious, elusive and temperamental…….
