My new favorite riesling. Dry enough to go well with sushi (and much better than any sake). — 11 years ago
Toffee, rich bitter notes of dark roasted coffee....high acid malty. 6oz is enough — 11 years ago
Reddish purple in the glass with aromas of cinnamon, cola nut and strawberries. Fresh and juicy with great acidity; the front palate hits with black cherry, tart cranberry and more baking spices. The mid palate carries some woody, earthy notes that finish with black tea, porcini mushrooms and fine grained, silky tannins. — 12 years ago

Deliciously fruity with a lot of vanilla/oak. Beautiful on its own. — 11 years ago
Excellent brown ale, not as big and bold as a porter or stout, but not supposed to be. — 11 years ago
Mustache approved. — 12 years ago
A dense glass-staining purple, the '06 Charles Smith Syrah 'Royal City' is a monumental wine. Big, pungent aromas of game, truffles, black olives and dried fruits exploded from the glass. Complex, but still seamlessly balanced. The tastes stayed on the palate for a seemingly infinite length of time. Simply wonderful! — 12 years ago
