The fruit was still very much present, mostly stewed raspberries, cranberries, and red plum. The earth was the shining star, composted soil, tobacco leaf, and very much dusty. The acid was still in tact, and the finish was very long. Just the way an aged Bordeaux should taste!! — 12 years ago

Ripe raspberry aromas layered with notes of red cherry and silky finish. Smooth! — 13 years ago
Vanilla, cedar, very dry in the mouth. Blackberry. I liked it. Paired with pork chops with a port, peppercorn and cream sauce and roasted asparagus and sweet potatoes — 11 years ago
Found this in the cellar, purchased from winemaker upon a visit to Cork's. Very pleasant, deep and rich after decanting. Went well with a variety of food. — 12 years ago
Proof positive that a star producer can deliver in variable vintages. This is an easy contender for the most satisfying Bordeaux experience I've had. Stress eliminator par excellence. — 13 years ago
