Still very young. Strong and powerful, has a long way to go. Sunny met the owner Melanie Tesseron at a wine event sponsored by ASC here in Shanghai. 2010 vintage. — 11 years ago

Great balance between the yeasty, nutty aromas and apple, mineral notes. Super fine bubbles, creamy texture followed by a precise acidity that cleans everything up perfectly. Thinking I'll need a magnum of this for New Years... — 10 years ago
Great varietal clarity on offer in this very reasonably priced Tassie ripper. Lots of cherries and a nice smoky earth. Big fan! — 11 years ago

Nestled between stellar vintages (2004 & 2006) is this 2005 star. I was able to find discounted at Sam's Club! Like all Brunello's, you must decant for at least 30 minutes. Once you do, the consistently 90+ rated pedigree emerges that will make an event or evening more memorable. There are more expensive Italian wines, but a bottle of Casanova di Neri Tenuta Nuova has never disappointed. Cheers! — 10 years ago
This is the "baby" wine made from the grapes that aren't good enough for the main event. Good enough for me! — 11 years ago

Liked this one overall from last year's Capital Grille yearly wine event. Now a year later, the Mt Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon still is a silky wonder with blueberries and violets on the nose. — 10 years ago
